Before we get into discussion too much we should discuss who should be on
this list.
whilst it is an open list I am inclinded to make it invite-only to start
with, as if we send out a mail to cave-surveying lists etc I suspect we may
get too many people like andy waddington joining who will heckle a lot but
not actually progress things much.
On the other hand we may find keen helpful people who will be really useful.
Thoughts? If I were to send out a general announcement where should it go
other than cave-surveying?
Currently on this list is Harry, Cookie, Wookey, Andrew Atkinson, Julina Todd.
People I think we should invite: Anthony day, Dave Loeffler, Olly Betts, Ed
Waters, and everyone in the room for Harry's talk - unfortunately I don't
know who those are. Cookie - presumably you know people involved in local
registries who might be interested. I know the CUCC and CSG cave-surveying
mafia, but I'm quite sure there are others I don't really know who ought to
be involved, or are at least interested enough to watch.
A relatively small group may find it easier to decide how to progress,
although if it's too small then we may miss important input from people who
know about stuff we don't.
So, suggestions and opinions on who to involve please, before we get on to
the substnative stuff.
