Hi,
I am working on a board running on ARM920T. I am using armboot
bootloader and linux-2.4.19 with rmkv patch kernel. The file system is
YAFFS. The board is working with Toshiba's Smartmedia NAND flash (512 byte
page). Now We have upgraded the flash with STMicro's large page (2048 byte
page) NAND Flash. I have successfully tested the flash with a small pattern
for erase, write and read operations. Now I am actually working in
modifying the nand part in bootloader and kernel, so as to access the
flash. After the modification for large page support, I am failing in
checking ECC. I am not able to understand the logic implemented in checkng
ECC for 2048 byte page. I followed the Linux-2.6 kernel and mtd snapshots
from mtd-infradead.org for modifications.
I would be very grateful if someone could guide me in doing this work.

regards,
chandru.
