Relax and Enjoy It

Our most popular recording, now only on CD, fundamental to many of the others, is Relax and Enjoy It. This contains detailed instructions about tensing and relaxing, the muscles in each part of the body in turn; if you follow these instructions you end up relaxed, and you cannot be relaxed and anxious at the same time. This recording is now widely recommended by general practitioners and hospital clinics.

GSR2 with Temperature Probe

GSR2 with optional meter and temperature sensor The addition of the Temperature sensor to the GSR2 instrument makes it useful in situations where your goal is to control blood circulation. This may be to treat migraine, where Biofeedback allows you to raise the temperature of a finger, which has been found to be helpful to migraine sufferers, who learn to abort imminent attacks of migraine. It is also used to relieve dysmenorrhea and Raynaud's syndrome.

Model S Relaxometer

Relaxometers make a sound whose pitch rises and falls with changes in your level of arousal; if you relax the tone goes down to a buzz, and if something startles you or makes you anxious the tone rises to a screech. They are especially useful if you feel it is no use just to be told to relax - you need to know how to do it. When you hear that you have relaxed, even just a little, you know you are doing it right, and you can go on doing that - even if you cannot put into words what it is you are doing.
If you practise in a peaceful setting and become skilful at relaxing, then you can apply that skill whenever you need to - before an important interview or meeting, travelling in the rush hour, when work gets hectic, and so on.
If you want to see the changes as well as hear them look at the Model Q Relaxometer.

GSR2 Skin Conductance Instrument

GSR2 with optional meter and temperature sensorThe GSR2 instrument is small and simple and does the same things as the Relaxometers; it is quieter, and good for one person to use on their own, but less useful when two people want to hear it. Its size and its little earpieces make it easy to carry around and use in everyday situations at work, or flying, or playing sports, or whenever you feel you are under pressure. It has a loudspeaker, a pair of earpieces and a Frequency adjustment control.
